Project code
Short title
Funder
Start and End Date
Days left
Award Value
Total Spend to Date
Left to Spend
Note that the Days left column will be highlighted in green if there is less than 90days to the
end of the project. This is a prompt to ensure that the allocated budget is spent however this
must be in accordance with the funders terms and conditions of award. If the Days left is
negative then the project is past its’ end date. There is usually a period after this date to allow
for preparation of final expenditure claims/invoices, once all income is received and the
project finances reconciled the project will be closed and no longer appear on this report.
Like wise the Left to spend column will be negative if the spend is greater than budget. In this
case remedial action is required immediately and you should contact your allocated REO
accounts assistant.
Linked Reports
To see the financial information attached to the project codes on the home page there a
linked report is available from the ‘Links’ dropdown menu.
A project report is available that shows important information such as budgets, actual
income/expenditure, commitments and transactions against the project.
This report shows the project budget and full life to date expenditure by account code.
The fields displayed are:
Current month
Actual to date
Committed
Total to date
Project Budget
Left to spend
Is the Actual Expenditure for the current month
Is the Actual Expenditure from the project start date to todays
date.
Is Purchase Orders awaiting an Invoice
Is Actual Spend to Date and Committed added together
Is the set amount of money to spend against the project code
and will be for the whole life of the Project.
Is the ‘Project Budget’ less the ‘Total’. If this is a positive
amount this indicates an underspend whilst a negative
amount indicates an overspend.
Drill Downs
It is possible to drill down or zoom on some information within the linked reports.
In this example, a list of transactions can be viewed which make up the total listed in the
Actual to Date column. To view this list click on the amount. A separate window will be
launched listing each transaction.
