WORLD BOOK DAY – **ADVANCED WARNING**
The Junior School will be holding World Book Day events on Thursday 3rd March. Children are invited to come to
school dressed as their favourite book character – No football players please. Watch this space for more information
coming soon!
CAKE SALE
Please remember that there will be a cake sale on Monday 1st February during morning break. This is to help raise
money in support of Mr Huby (Father of Gracie & Mia Year 5) who will be running the London Marathon in support
of Cerebral Palsy in April. All cakes will cost between 15p - 50p.
SHOW YOU CARE, PARK ELSEWHERE!
Could we please remind all parents/carers who are either dropping off or collecting children that they ensure that
they’re considerate to our neighbours, pedestrians and other road users. Illegal parking is extremely dangerous and
we all want to avoid any potential accidents.
Also, please remember that due to the safety of our pupils, parents are not permitted to park in the school car park
or across the driveway at any time of the day.
SCHOOL DINNER DELIGHTS
The children have been enjoying their hot school dinners this week and we thought it would be nice to share some
of their pictures and comments with you:
“The school lunches are always so nice, and they always change every day - in a good way. I think they are getting
better and better” – Rae Feltham 5LM
“The dinners at school are really tasty and fresh. The desserts are really good. My favourite dessert is the biscuits” –
William Bigmore 6EB
AUTUMN TERM HOUSE WINNERS
Mr Price and the entire Lime Team enjoyed their treat today for having the most team points during the Autumn
Term. They were treated to an afternoon movie and snacks, the Movie was “Home” – Well done Lime!
New team points have now started so all the children need to do their best to be awarded a team point for
something good. This includes their manners and enthusiastic approach to learning and effort.
