Help us build something great
Founded in October 2015, Salford University Race Team
is an ambitious project created by a team of dedicated
engineering and business students to compete in
Formula Student, like other teams we are 100% student
run volunteering our own time to develop our business
and engineering talents.
Formula Student is the world’s most established
educational motorsport competition. The UK competition
is organised by the institution of Mechanical Engineers
and since its inception in 1998, has become a key testing
ground for the next generation of exceptional engineers.
We are designing, building, and marketing a race car.
Our car and social media presence will be seen by
1000’s of people, and when we visit Silverstone Grand
Prix track in July to present to industry experts, our car
will be seen by the countries top automotive
companies.

This year we are aiming to manufacture our
chassis design, and fabrication is well under way,
however for the 2017 race season we require
additional funding to field a track ready race car.

Gold Sponsor - £1000 - All of the benefits of Silver plus:
• Large Company logo on car, banners at freshers fair, and

• Invitation to meet the team and visit the car
Platinum Sponsor £2500 - All of the benefits of Gold plus:
• Receive a 3D printed scale model of the SR01 chassis
design
