NEW JERSEY ATHLETIC Conference FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK WEEK ENDING 11/20/16 oFFENSIVE PLAYER of the Week jamar baynard • Wesley College Senior • Running Back • Middletown, DE/Middletown Baynard earns the final NJAC Offensive Player of the Week selection, his second of the season, after helping lead the Wolverines to a 38-14 NCAA Tournament first round victory over No. 20 Stevenson. He averaged 7.4 yards per carry on the day, finishing with 265 rushing yards on 36 attempts and three rushing touchdowns. His 265-yard performance marked the most rushing yards by an NJAC player in a game this season, and the second most single-game rushing yards in Wesley program history. A first team all-conference selection, Baynard currently ranks second in the NJAC in rushing (108.1 yards per game). defensive PLAYER of the Week jordan procter • Frostburg State University Junior • Defensive Line • Purceville, VA/Loudon Valley Procter earns the final NJAC Defensive Player of the Week selection after leading the Bobcat defense in a 38-14 victory over No. 22 St. John Fisher in the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl. He was named the game’s Most Valuable Player after registering six solo tackles and a forced fumble in the win, with all six stops going for a loss. Of his six tackles for a loss, five were sacks, marking both the most sacks and tackles for a loss by an NJAC player in a game this season. An all-conference selection, Procter currently ranks second in the NJAC in total sacks (9.5). special teams PLAYER of the Week aryeh moslavi • Kean University Junior • Kicker • Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn Moslavi earns the final NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week selection, his third of the season and his second consecutive honor, after registering the game-winning points in the Cougars’ 3027 win over SUNY Cortland in the ECAC Clayton Chapman Bowl. On the final snap of his junior season, he connected on a 26-yard walk-off field goal to secure the Bowl win. He also connected on three extra points, giving him six points scored on the day. An all-conference selection, Moslavi currently is tied for the NJAC lead in field goals made (18). OFFENSIVE ROOKIE of the Week damien king • Salisbury University Freshman • Wide Receiver • Lexington Park, MD/Leondardtown King earns the final NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week selection after helping the Sea Gulls record a 52-20 win over Carnegie Mellon in the ECAC Legacy Bowl. In the first postseason game of his collegiate career, he made the most of his only carry, rushing 42 yards on an end-around on what marked the second longest play from scrimmage in the contest. King made the most of his opportunities as a rookie, finishing his first season with two receptions for 77 yards and two rushes for 64 yards. DEFENSIVE ROOKIE of the Week graylin walker • Frostburg State University Freshman • Linebacker • Waldorf, MD/North Point Walker earns the final NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Week selection after helping Frostburg secure a 38-14 win over No. 22 St. John Fisher in the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl. In the first postseason game of his collegiate career, he tallied three tackles and a key interception which he returned 55 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. A key component of Frostburg’s top-ranked defense, Walker finished his freshman season with 43 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, 1.0 sack, an INT, one forced fumble and two blocked kicks.
