TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Instructions on how to claim the refund offer form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this
offer is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Refund offer not valid in conjunction with any
other offer (to the extent permitted by law).
2. Claims are only open to Australian residents aged eighteen (18) years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this offer are ineligible to
claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child
(whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece,
nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. To be eligible to claim a refund, individuals must purchase an Eligible Product (as defined below) from a
participating retailer nationally in Australia or via a national participating retailer’s online store between
01/01/2017 and close of business (for in-store purchases) or 11:59pm local time (for online purchases) on
31/12/2017 (“Purchase Period”). For the removal of doubt, Internet sales via eBay or similar online third
party Internet websites are excluded from this offer. Eligible products include: GC722, GC7028, GC712.
4. Customers have up to thirty (30) days of the date of purchase to trial and return the Eligible Product, should
the customer be unsatisfied with the Eligible Product. Customers must return the Eligible Product so that it
is received within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase, in accordance with clause 5. Final close date for
claims will be 30/01/2018. The Eligible Product must be used and maintained according to the instruction
booklet supplied. If after using the Eligible Product in the recommended manner, the individual is not
convinced that the Eligible Product provides satisfactory results, the individual will be eligible to claim a
refund of the full purchase amount for that Eligible Product as shown on their receipt.
5. To be eligible to submit a claim, claimants must undertake the following steps:
a) Purchase an Eligible Product during the Purchase Period from any participating retailer nationally or
via a participating retailer’s online store (in accordance with clause 3 above) and retain the original
packaging;
b) Obtain a Money Back Guarantee claim form online at http://www.tefal.com.au/special-offers;
c) Complete the Money Back Guarantee claim form including their bank detail for the purposes of the
refund; and
d) Return the Eligible Product in its original packaging and then in an outer carton, in good working
condition along with any accessories (including cleaning the items prior to return), the instruction
booklet, the completed Money Back Guarantee claim form and the original purchase receipt to:

so that it is received within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase as shown on the purchase
receipt (with final close date for claims being last mail on 30/01/2018, for those who purchased on
31/12/2017). Postage costs will be the responsibility of the claimant and will not be refunded.
6. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims will be deemed invalid.
7. Claimants must retain their original purchase receipt and the Eligible Product packaging as proof of
purchase and for the purposes of submitting a claim. Failure to produce the proof of purchase when
requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of a claimant’s claim and
forfeiture of any right to a refund. The purchase receipt must clearly specify the retailer of purchase and that
the purchase was made during the Purchase Period but prior to submitting a claim.
8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and claimants (including a
claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify
a claimant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions,
tampered with the claim process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to
jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the offer. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s
discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of
those rights The promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender
are reserved.
9. Only one (1) claim permitted per household.
10. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion,
to determine the identity of the claimant.
11. If a Participant claims a Cash Back offer or promotional item/s and later returns the Product and/promotional item/s, due to a defect in the Product, in accordance with law and the relevant authorised Tefal
stockists Terms and Conditions of sale, then the amount refunded or credited to the Participant will be the
amount paid for the Product, less the Cash Back amount and/promotional item/s value.
12. Refunds will only be valid if the Eligible Product is received by the Promoter within thirty (30) days from
the date of purchase, as shown on the purchase receipt and provided the Eligible Product is still in good
working condition and meets the conditions set out in clause 5 above. If the Eligible Product has been
damaged through misuse, the repair cost will be deducted from the refund amount. Any manufacturing
defects will be covered by Groupe SEB’s 12 month replacement warranty and as required by law. Refer to
warranty card for details.
13. Refunds will only be issued once the Promoter receives:
(a) the Eligible Product (in its original packaging);
(b) the original purchase receipt; and
(c) the completed Money Back Guarantee claim form.
14. Refunds will be issued in the form of an electronic funds transfer and into the nominated bank account as
listed on the completed Money Back Guarantee claim form.
15. Claimants must ensure that all personal details provided are correct. Claimants are responsible for providing their full and accurate name and account details. The Promoter will not be responsible for a banking
institution rejecting a refund, or any costs associated with locating any lost monies.
16. Postage costs for the return of the Eligible Product, are the full responsibility of the claimant.
Whilst it is not required, the Promoter suggests the claimant use registered post. Unless expressly stated within these Terms and Conditions, all other expenses are also the responsibility
of the claimant.
17. Claimants will be notified in writing. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be
entered into.
18. This offer is in addition to and does not replace a claimant’s statutory rights and protections.
19. Claimants should allow up to thirty (30) working days to receive the refund.
20. If this offer is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated
due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical
difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to
the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or
cancel the offer, as appropriate.
21. Any cost associated with accessing the Internet is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the
Internet service provider used.
22. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify
the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as
any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and
Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be
excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers,
employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or
damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any
way out of the offer.
23. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the
Promoter and offer Supplier (including their respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible
for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b)
any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged
or misdirected (whether or not after the receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (e) use of a refund.
24. The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the offer and may, for this purpose,
disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors and service providers.
Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy
Policy, which can be viewed at http://www.tefal.com.au/privacy. In addition to any use that may be
outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise
advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending
electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how
claimants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how claimants may complain about a breach
of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt
with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose claimant’s personal
information to any entity outside of Australia.
