TODAY’S LESSON:
As Jesus traveled
through Samaria, He
sat down at the well to
rest. A Samaritan woman, who many knew to
be a sinner, came to
the well for water. Jesus asked her for a
drink and told her
many things about her
life. When she recognized that Jesus was
the promised Messiah,
she went back to town
to tell everyone. Jesus
saw the woman’s true
worth and offered her
living water.
John 4:1-42

We like to look at ourselves in the
mirror. Just like the woman at the
well, God knows everything about us.
God loves Ty and Micah very much.
1’S & 2’S
It is so good to be back with other
children learning about Jesus in VBS.
Today we learned how Jesus reached
out to the woman at the well. He
knew everything about her and He
knows everything about us, the good
and the bad. Thank you Jesus for
loving us!
3’S & 4’S
RECREATION
Today we learned about the Samaritan woman at the well. She met Jesus
there. He told her how much God
loved and cared for her. She was so
excited about what Jesus told her
that she forgot her water jar and hurried to tell others about Jesus.
We had fun playing a game pretending to play with water from the well.
MUSIC
CRAFTS
Today we sang, “God Knows All About
Me” and discussed how special the
Lord has made us. Also, how He loves
us and cares for us.
This week we are making sea creatures. The animal we made today was
Cedric the Sea Turtle. The children
enjoyed making the turtles out of egg
cartons and paint.
SNACKS
The children loved the “Pearl of the
Sea Cookies” we made.

KINDERGARTEN
FOURTH GRADE
CRAFTS
Today we learned that Jesus knows
us and loves us anyway. He knows
everything and helps us do right.
Then we took pictures in the mouth of
a shark. It was fun!
Day two finds us diving down to Samaria. We learned Jesus met a Samaritan woman at the community
water well. When He shared her life
story with her, a man she did not
know, she realized He was the promised Messiah. Jesus helped her realize
that even though she was a sinner,
she was worthy of God’s love.
Today in crafts we made wind chimes.
Every time they chime it can be a reminder that He guides us, He sees us,
and He treasures us!
FIRST GRADE
Through the Bible story, Jesus saw
the woman at the well, we learned
that Jesus knows our worth. We are
also learning Psalm 139:23-24. Today
we worked on learning the phrase,
“test me and know my concerns.”
SECOND GRADE
Today, we learned that “Jesus knows
my worth.” Even when we don’t feel
worthy or that we measure up to others, we know that Jesus finds great
worth in us. Continue working on
Psalm 139:23-24.
THIRD GRADE
As we dive deeper into God’s word, we
learn that He knows us and has a
specific plan for our lives. Today’s
Bible story is about a woman who
learned that God knew her and loved
her no matter how many bad choices
she had made.
FIFTH GRADE/PRE-TEEN
Today we dove deep into the story of
the Samaritan woman at the well. We
learned that it doesn’t matter how you
have sinned. Jesus knows our true
worth. He is willing to go against the
customs of this world to offer us living
water, salvation, and eternal life with
God.
RECREATION
We enjoyed playing Predator Tag and
getting in the “Safe Zone”. Jesus
wants to be our safe zone and Savior.
SNACKS
Pearl of the Sea Cookie and Goldfish:
God can take something as insignificant as a grain of sand and make a
beautiful pearl.
MUSIC
In music today, we are learning
“Remarkably Made.” Kids learned that
they are very special and uniquely
made. God created each one of them
and there is no one else like them.
