Buy a Golf Ball for the Golf Ball Drop and you could win up to $2,000!
Golf Balls are $5 each or buy in bunches for less! It’s as simple as that!
Buckets of numbered golf balls will be dropped from 60 feet above onto the grass. The first golf ball in the
hole or the one closest to the main hole wins its owner a cash prize of up to $2,000!
We are also giving out $300 for hole #2 and $150 to hole #3
Last date to purchase balls is Friday, May 12, 2017 (winner need NOT be present).
The student who raises the most money will win 2 tickets to Universal Studios!
The student who sold the winning ball for the top cash prize will win $100!

Golf Ball Drop Rules:
1. Entry fees are listed on the flyer. Each participant will be entered into the St Kieran Catholic School Golf Ball Drop to take place on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at St
Kieran Catholic Church. Participants may enter more than once.
Participants will be assigned a numbered golf ball(s) based on their entry. A minimum of 400 golf balls must be sold for the event for the golf ball
drop to occur.
2. On Thursday, May 18, 2017, the numbered golf balls will be placed randomly in a bucket, hoisted above the ground and dropped onto the field at St Kieran’s
Church. The participant whose golf ball goes into the hole first will receive a cash prize of up to $2,000. The actual grand prize is determined by the number of golf
balls sold. If more than one golf ball goes into the hole, those golf balls will be recorded with the second, third and fourth golf ball being the closest to the bottom of
the hole, and held in reserve until the first place winner claims his/her prize.
3. If no golf ball goes into the hole, then the golf ball landing the closest to the hole will win. The golf ball closest to the hole will be determined by
measuring the distance from the center of the hole in receding order in the event the first place prize winner does not claim his/her prize.
4. The winner will be announced at the Golf ball Drop and at the site of the 19th Annual St Kieran Catholic School Golf Tournament and need not be present to win.
The winner will be notified via phone and/or email in the event the winner is not present at the Annual Golf Tournament.
5. If the Golf Ball Drop should be cancelled for any reason, all money collected will be donated to St Kieran Catholic School in El Cajon. St Kieran Catholic School is not
responsible for the postponement or cancellation of the event and will not substitute the prize should this occurrence so arise.
6. To participate in the St Kieran Catholic School Golf Ball Drop, an entry form must be fully complete and mailed, faxed, or scanned to:

Incomplete forms will not be accepted. Golf Ball purchases are non-refundable.
7. All entries become property of St Kieran Catholic School and will not be returned. If the winner cannot be located or fails to claim the first prize within thirty days
after notification, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next winner in line as provided under the Golf Ball Drop Rules above. If no winner comes forth after
attempting to contact the four separate, sequential winners as provided in the Golf Ball Drop Rules above, then the first prize will be forfeited.
8. All federal, local, and state taxes are the sole
responsibility of the individual winner.

Golf Ball Drop Incentives
As a family at St. Kieran we are obligated to sell $100 worth of golf balls. To make it more fun
for the kids and give us more bang for our buck, we have this incentive program to try and raise
as much money for the school as possible.
The prizes this year are: 1st Ball : $2000
2nd Ball: $300
3rd Ball : $200
The student that sells the winning ball gets $100
The student who raises the most money gets 2
tickets to Universal Studios
If you turn in your obligation by March 17th of $100 worth of golf balls, your student will
receive an In & Out burger lunch at their lunchtime.
If you turn in $200 by April 7th, your student will receive a Free Dress pass and pizza for
lunch.
If you turn in $300 by April 28th, your student will receive a Free Dress Pass and extra recess
to enjoy an ice cream party.
If you turn in at least $400 by May 8th, your student will have a blast at our water party! We
grill burgers & hot dogs, serve cold drinks and all sorts of treats. We play on a huge blow up
water slide and have an epic water balloon fight. We have slip and slides, little pools and lots of
fun. It starts at the 12 o’clock lunch and goes to 2:45. It is the most fun school party of the
year!! Don’t let them miss out!!!!

promote their businesses.
For companies who donate $300 will have
their name at the hole with their logo, golf
cart GPS advertising, recognition at the
dinner, 1 dinner ticket and can choose to set
up at the hole to meet potential customers
and hand out info. We do have
opportunities for sponsorships that include
rounds of golf or promotional items for the
golfers.
