“Every Round Makes a Difference” at
Tour for the Cure® Golf Day
All-day event, open to the public, will help raise funds for breast cancer research
Lawrenceburg, Ind., June 13, 2013 – Golfers from across the region will gather together in
support of breast cancer research this week at Tour for the Cure® Golf Day, a special fundraising
event that will be held tomorrow at Grand Oak Golf Club in Southeast Indiana. Sponsored by the
Dearborn County Convention, Visitor & Tourism Bureau, the event will raise money for the
bureau’s Tour for the Cure® initiative, a travel incentive program that supports the Vera Bradley
Foundation for Breast Cancer (SM).

Tour for the Cure® Golf Day

Throughout the day on June 14, Grand Oak
will donate $5 to Tour for the Cure® for every
18-hole round played, and $2.50 to Tour for
the Cure® for every 9-hole round played.
100% of Tour for the Cure® donations support
the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast
Cancer (SM).
A great way to “have fun and give hope,” Tour for the Cure® Golf Day is open to the public all day,
with participants allowed to golf at the time of their choosing. Advanced tee time reservations
(812-637-3943) are recommended but not required.
