QS Unisolution was formed in April 2009 when Unisolution GmbH, the market leading supplier of software in
the area of university internationalisation, joined forces with the software business of QS Quacquarelli
Symonds Ltd (QS).
QS has a global presence (with several offices in major regions of the world and events held in nearly 100
countries) and has a loyal ‘blue-chip’ client base consisting of business schools, universities and corporate
employers. The company is now planning for further growth and we need to maximize all our opportunities by
investing in, and strengthening our technology teams delivering the MoveON and MoveIN solutions.
QS Unisolution is planning further growth and is looking for an experienced, dynamic Sales person to deliver
particularly across the French Higher Education sector and to develop growing markets, such as, Spain and
Portugal.
The Role
As QS Unisolution Sales Manager, you will work across the Southern Europe territory reporting into the Head of
Sales based in the UK.
You will manage the sales process throughout the sales cycle, including prospecting and lead follow-up,
prospect qualification, demonstrations, write proposals and tender submissions, negotiation and closing
business.
We are looking for an experienced sales professional who is driven, enthusiastic and a self starter who is able
to;










Represent QS Unisolution and its product suite to attract new and further develop existing customer
accounts within the education sector
Meet and exceed direct sales goals within assigned geographic territory
Manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, qualification and closing
Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales potential with the ability to move a large
number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline
Manage and track customer and transactional information into web-based system; logging all sales
activity within the established processes; keeping customer account current and accurate
Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering
Provide online product demonstration to prospects
Write and submit tenders to successfully meet requirements and deadlines
Work with contracts and service level agreements
Represent QS Unisolution at trade shows and industry related conference and events


Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer
success
The successful candidate will be expected to develop close working relationships with universities,
business schools and 3rd parties in France and work with a full range of channels.
Key skills and experience
 Educated to Degree level or equivalent
 Proven technology sales experience (SaaS preferred)
 Proven experience of converting cold leads to long-term clients
 Demonstrable awareness of sales process and cycle
 Motivated by targets, deadlines and achieving results
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 Flexible approach and ability to embrace and drive change
 Ability to pitch to senior level figures
 Fluency in French and English is essential, Spanish language skills an advantage
Distinct advantages would include:
 Sales experience within the Education sector
 Experience selling SAAS/Cloud solutions
 Experience of the solution selling methodology
 Salesforce CRM and lead nurturing experience
 French and Spanish language skills
