On Sunday 2nd of October a team of 23 refugees of Diavata
Camp (6 adults and 17 children) visited Fix Autumn Festival.
The refugees watched a theater and a circus performance. All
the children were excited and the adolescents were very
grateful.
It was very impressive to see once again that language
barriers can be overcome - the kids actively participated in
the performances of the Festival, without problems. They
laughed, played and had fun.
It is important to mention that the other people who
watched the shows of the Festival not only were they very
polite and cooperative with us, but they, also, treated the
refugees some snacks. They didn’t even complain because of
the delay of the performance, due to the fact that they were
waiting for the refugees to come.
We believe that all Diavata residents that participated had a
very good time and enjoyed the event and the day!
