POSITION TITLE: Lifeguard/Swim Instructor
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
-
Life guarding and instruction of a fun, safe, and diverse aquatic environment
Public relations and safety education
Instruction of a variety of programs and preventative life guarding duties
Related administrative and maintenance duties
WORK TERM:
-
Weekday shifts available (Monday-Friday daytime hours)
Required to be available to teach a minimum of 1 shift per week
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS REQUIRED:
-
National Lifeguard Service Award
Water Safety Instructor
Standard First Aid & CPR or Aquatic Emergency Care
Lifesaving Instructor
Swim for Life Instructor
Previous experience in an aquatic environment and additional leadership awards would be
an asset
