Appreciating Harald’s superb SKN chairmanship over the years, he is appointed as “Honorary SKN Chairman”.
Honorary SKN Chairmen can attend future SKN meetings as observers.
Note: Experience and network of Honorary Chairmen could be useful for the continuity of the SKN and in connection with promoting the
Solar Keymark.

The present document “SKN_N0106AnnexI_R0” is named “Annex I to Solar Keymark specific scheme rules:
Complaints Related to Solar KEYMARK Testing Laboratories and Inspectors”
Hence from a formal point of view it is not possible to use this from for complaints about certification bodies. But I think we also need an
official form or/and extension of the present form in order to complain about certification bodies.

New procedure for solar thermal system long term prediction according to EN 12977-2 /UF
As now the first system is certified according to EN 12977, there is an ongoing discussion about applicable boundary conditions for long
term prediction for that kind of complex systems.
We’ve got now the unique chance to update the boundary conditions at least for the standard EN 12977 to get applicable and up to date
requirements. If e.g. the tapping profile
stays simplified (100% at noon + 6h) to get the comparison with EN 12976 and the CSTG method, there’s no chance for a successful
implementation of EN 12977 certification scheme.
A presentation should explain the problems and solutions to come to a sustainable long term prediction and consequently to a successful
12977 certification scheme.

Note: From my perspective, there’s no chance for a final decision on this topic. I want to discuss the problem to know the different views and to go into the
right direction for a final proposal for vote in Autumn 2016.
I will try to finalize the presentation until end of February. There should be the chance for a real (short) discussion. And maybe, we have to create a
Working Group again.
