Xerox 8570DN Driver Setup
How to obtain your printer’s IP address:
From the idle screen select Information and then Printer Identification. Scroll down
until you see TCP/IP V4 address; this number is the printer’s IP address. If this
number is blank the printer is either connected via USB or there is an internal
networking issues. Any networking issues will need to be resolved by whoever
manages your IT infrastructure.
Windows 7 Setup:
Begin by determining whether your version of Windows is 32Bit or 64Bit. This can be
achieved by clicking Start, right-clicking on Computer and then click Properties. Next
to System Type it will say either 64-bit Operating system or 32-bit Operating system.

Once downloaded, run the program and unzip the files to your Desktop. It may
prompt you to add a new printer at this stage but it can be cancelled.
To install the driver follow the steps below:
• Click Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.
• Click onto Add a printer at the top and a window will open.
• Select Add a Local Printer and then create a new Standard TCP/IP port.
• When asked for the IP address enter in the printers IP address.
• Uncheck “Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use” as we
will be manually locating it.
• Select Browse and navigate to the folder on the Desktop where the file was
previously extracted.
• Select Xerox as the Manufacturer and the printer as a "Xerox ColorQube
8570DN PS" and then select next.
• Select Replace the current driver and then click next.
Change the printer name to MM A4 Charts and un-tick the option to share on your
network.
Now repeat this process again but change the Name at the last step to what’s below:
• MM Seals V2
• MM Lids V2
• MM A4 Labels

Configuring Seal Printer Preferences:
Have the list of currently installed printers in front of you and right click onto the
MM Seals printer. From the dropdown menu select Printer Preferences.
1. From the Paper dropdown select Other Size.
2. A new window will now open. Select the dropdown arrow next to the Output
Paper Size option and select New.
3. Name the custom size "Seals V2" with the following dimensions and then
press OK:
Height: 340
Width: 184
4. Ensure No Scaling is set and the page is centered. The Original Document size
also needs to be set to Seals V2. A warning dialogue will open but can be
ignored.
After following the steps above you should have the settings below:
5. From the Paper dropdown, navigate into Select by tray and change it to Tray
1 (MPT).
6. Alter 2-Sided print to 1-Sided print and set the Print Quality to Standard.

7. Finally, select Advanced from the top menu bar and then expand the Image
Options section. Click onto the top option of Rotate Image 180 Degrees and
the click onto Setup. Tick the box next to Subsequent 180 Degree Rotation
and then select Seals V2 from the top drop down box. From the bottom Drop
Down box select Landscape Pages. Lastly click onto OK, and then Apply
changes.
Configuring Lids Printer Preferences:
Have the list of currently installed printers in front of you and right click onto the
MM Lids printer. From the dropdown menu select Printer Preferences.
1. From the Paper dropdown select Other Size.
2. A new window will now open. Select the dropdown arrow next to the Output
Paper Size option and select New.
3. Name the custom size "Lids V2" with the following dimensions and then press
OK:

4. Ensure No Scaling is set and the page is centered. The Original Document size
also needs to be set to Lids V2. A warning dialogue will open but can be
ignored.
5. From the Paper dropdown, navigate into Select by tray and change it to Tray
1 (MPT).
6. Alter 2-Sided print to 1-Sided print and set the Print Quality to Standard.
7. Finally, select Advanced from the top menu bar and then expand the Image
Options section. Click onto the top option of Rotate Image 180 Degrees and
the click onto Setup. Tick the box next to Subsequent 180 Degree Rotation
and then select Seals V2 from the top drop down box. From the bottom Drop

MM A4 Labels printer. From the dropdown menu select Printer Preferences.
