A steering link arm is included as standard equipment for all four strokes except: Remote Control T8 and T9.9, all V6, and all V8 models.

COMMAND LINK IMMOBILIZER (Y-COP™)
®
Yamaha is also proud to introduce Y-COP™, or Yamaha Customer Outboard Protection,
which renders compatible outboards unable to start when activated.
Optional on new F225, F250, and F300
V6 Offshore models, the new F350 with
Command Link Plus compatibility, and other
Yamaha Outboard models, the Electronic
Control Module disables the ignition system
via an operator-controlled key fob. When the
operator wishes to use the outboard, a simple
command via the wireless key fob enables the
ignition system.
Two highly water-resistant key fobs are
provided with each system.
The Y-COP Immobilizer system will become
available for other Yamaha outboards in the
future. For those models currently scheduled for
production, please consult the below chart for
more information.
