Arbiter Rating Problem
•
• Arbiter is treating each evaluation as a “3 person” game
• If you are the Referee, the evaluation has 2 Umpire forms
to rate
• If you only fill out 1 Umpire rating, the evaluation will not
be COMPLETE (shows as RESUME status).
• Until Arbiter resolves the problem, you need to fill out
both Umpire forms with the same ratings (including
comments) so no data is lost.
To FIX current ratings: Step 1
• Go to EVALUATIONS tab
• Look for any reports that
are in RESUME status
• If Status = RESUME, then
only one Umpire evaluation
was completed.
To FIX current ratings: Step 2
1st “Umpire form
• Open each RESUME evaluation
• You should see 2 Umpires to rate (this will be the same official
unless 3 officials were assigned to work the game)
• Check the first rating; note ratings & comments you entered, then
select NEXT to go to the 2nd rating
To FIX current ratings: Step 3
2nd “Umpire form
• Fill out the 2nd Umpire rating form
• Ensure the individual ratings and comments are consistent with the
first rating
• Hit FINALIZE AND SUBMIT when finished
To FIX current ratings: Step 4
• The rating should be in
COMPLETED status and no
longer shown in your
EVALUATION queue
• To confirm, click on the
“Show All” box, and all
evaluations for this season
should appear.
• The ratings you fixed should
now be in COMPLETED
status
Next steps
•
• There is still no timetable from Arbiter on when the
problem will be fixed – issue is being escalated
• All members should address any incomplete ratings by
Friday Jan 20th
• Ratings will be open for review Saturday Jan 21st through
Wednesday Jan 25th
