Ball Field
There is a ball field located on the rear left of the property. Use of the ball field is restricted to
daylight hours and is at the resident's own risk and responsibility.
Clubhouse
Resident Function Room
The Community Room is available to all residents for a $50 charge. Please call the Management
and Leasing Office to reserve the room. A refundable damage deposit will be required of $150.
Computer Center
The Computer Center is available to all residents over the age of 16 during office hours. Internet
and printing services are available at no charge.
Fitness Center
The Fitness Center is located in the Poolhouse building and is accessible from the rear of the
building. Residents must be 18 years of age to use the fitness center.
The following guidelines, rules and regulations have been developed for the safety of residents
when using any part of the fitness facility. Revisions to these Rules & Regulations may be made
from time to time without notice to residents; however, Norwest Woods will post changes in the
Fitness Center.
Norwest Woods Fitness Center Hours:
The center is open every day from 6:00am until 10:00pm. The doors will be locked promptly at
10:00pm, please plan your workout accordingly.
All residents must:
Sign the Waiver of Liability form and be authorized to use the Fitness Center
Clean the equipment after use. A disinfectant spray bottle and paper towels are mounted on the
wall.
Wear appropriate attire such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, and sneakers for health and safety
reasons
Report any unsafe conditions to the Management and Leasing Office at 781-762-1111
Place trash in the waste receptacle
Not move equipment
Please respect other members when playing music or watching TV.
Please restrict equipment use to 30 minutes if others are waiting.
Only residents that have signed the Waiver of Liability and read the Rules and Regulations, will
be allowed to use the fitness facility.
NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 IS PERMITTED IN THE FITNESS CENTER AT ANY
TIME.
Common Areas
Please do not obstruct entrances, sidewalks, roadways or grounds. These areas are to be used
only to gain access to and from the apartment. No one is permitted to loiter or congregate in
common areas. Sidewalks must be kept clear at all times. At no time are recreational activities
permitted on the grounds of common areas at Norwest Woods. This includes, but is not limited
to, ball playing (except on the ball field), bicycling, roller skating/blading, and skateboarding.
Laundry
Many apartments have washer and dryer hookups or washer/dryers in them. There are also seven
conveniently located common laundry rooms on the property. These rooms are available for use
from 8AM-10PM. The laundry machines are coin operated and are owned and maintained by a
private contractor. Should you experience any problems with the machines, please contact the
Management and Leasing Office so that we may notify the contractor.
Parking Rules and Regulations (for Chestnut Hill Realty lots)
An authorized parking sticker must be displayed in the rear side window of your vehicle at all
times. Failure to have the sticker properly displayed will result in the towing of your car at your
own risk and expense.
If any of your vehicle or personal information changes, you must notify the management
immediately to avoid unnecessary towing at your own risk and expense.
Parking spaces are for operable vehicles only. Storage of inoperable vehicles or other personal
property is not allowed and is subject to removal at the vehicle owners' expense. All vehicles
must have current registration and inspection sticker and must be in good repair. Conducting any
vehicle maintenance or repairs is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to oil and/or tire
changes.
RV's and boats are not permitted within Norwest Woods.
Management is not required to render or give any service and has no obligations to you other
than to provide a space for parking your vehicle.
Parking is allowed in designated areas only. Under no circumstances will any vehicle enter onto
any non-paved area, including but not limited to, sidewalks, front or rear courtyards, or other
landscaped areas at Norwest Woods.
Under no circumstances is parking allowed in fire or travel lanes. Violators will be towed
immediately at owners' expense.
Inquiries about guest parking may be made with the Management and Leasing Office by calling
781-762-1111 during regular business hours.
All personal property in any part of the parking lot shall be at your own risk. It is your
responsibility to insure your vehicle against theft, fire, vandalism and for all compulsory
coverage.
Norwest Woods shall make reasonable snow removal efforts, although not required or in any
way obligated to do so. Norwest Woods is not responsible for the snow removal of individual
parking spaces. Please make every effort to remove your vehicle(s) during snow plowing.
In the event that you have an apartment lease or tenancy agreement with or through the
Management and Leasing Office, default under said lease shall constitute a default and
termination.
Upon expiration and/or termination of lease, all parking decals must be returned to the
Management and Leasing Office.
Playground
Residents may use any of the four playgrounds on the property. The playgrounds are located on
the fire lanes between the front four buildings. Use of the playgrounds is at the resident's own
risk and is restricted to children aged six and under. Adult supervision is required at all times.
Pool Information
Hours
Regular pool hours are everyday 10AM - 7PM.
The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, weather permitting.
Rules
The following rules are set forth to insure the maximum safety and enjoyment of all persons and
must be strictly followed and enforced.
No person may use the pool unless a lifeguard is on duty.
You must be wearing your tag and must be presented to the lifeguard upon entering the pool area
and must be picked up upon leaving. Absolutely no admittance without pass.
A cleansing shower must be taken before using the pool. There is a shower area inside the pool
house.
Residents under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Adults must be in the water with children under 5 years of age. NO DIAPERS ARE ALLOWED
IN THE POOL.
NO DIVING OR JUMPING INTO THE POOL WILL BE ALLOWED. The pool is only 4-5ft at
the deepest and injury could result from diving or jumping.
NO RUNNING OR ROUGH PLAY IS ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA..
NO ball playing of any kind; no sports equipment will be permitted. Personal floatation devices
may be used at the discretion of the lifeguards..
NO glass or food in the pool area. Cans and plastic are permitted provided they are disposed of
properly..
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND SMOKING ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA
NO loitering in the pool area..
When the lifeguard sounds the whistle, all persons are required to stop and listen for further
instructions.
THE LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY HAVE COMPLETE AUTHORITY TO DENY PRIVILEGES
TO ANY PERSON FOR MISCONDUCT OR INFRACTION OF THE RULES.
Every precaution will be taken for the safety of all persons. Management and personnel are not
responsible for any accident resulting from use of the pool or for loss of articles. The lifeguards
are responsible for enforcement of pool rules: please abide by their judgment in the interpretation
of these rules. Failure to comply with the rules will result in the revocation of pool privileges.
Public Transportation
Norwest Woods is 1 and 1/4 miles from the Norwood Depot commuter rail stop. To get to
Norwood Depot, take a right out of the property onto Nahatan Street, then take a left onto
Washington Street and a right onto Railroad Avenue. For more information click here to go to

Shuttle Service
Shuttle service to Norwood Central. Pick up at the circle in front of the office. Hours are Monday
through Friday: 6:30am - 9:00am and 4:30pm - 7:00pm.
Referring Friends to CHR
Chestnut Hill Realty prides itself on the fact that so many of our new residents come to us as
referrals from our current residents. If you would like to refer a friend or family member to a
Chestnut Hill Realty apartment community, please contact the Management and Leasing Office.
Snow Removal
Norwest Woods makes every effort to clean snow from walkways and parking areas in a timely
fashion. At times, Management will ask the residents to relocate their vehicles to allow the
parking areas to be cleared sufficiently. Unfortunately, Norwest Woods cannot be responsible for
removing accumulated snow around parked vehicles. Please report any hazardous condition to
the Management and Leasing Office.
Storage
Units in the 100, 200, 500 & 600 units have outside storage bins, for which residents are free to
provide their own padlocks. Most of the units in the 7, 8 and 9 buildings have attic storage.
Please be aware of the following policies regarding resident storage:

Norwest Woods is not responsible for damage or loss to any items
Chestnut Hill Realty reserves the right to discontinue offering free resident storage at any time
Tennis Court
The tennis court is open during daylight hours from Spring to Fall. The court is for tennis playing
only. Guests are welcome to use the court when accompanied by a resident. Use of the court is at
your own risk and responsibility. Please obey all posted rules.
Trash/Recycling
The Recycling Centers is located near the tennis court. Please properly bag and secure all
household trash and place it inside the compactor. If you have any large items, such as furniture
or mattresses, please contact the Management and Leasing Office for additional direction. Large
items are not to be dropped at the Recycling Center at any time.
