REGULATIONS FOR THE TOURNAMENT ‘PLAY-OFFS 2015’ Article 1: Subject and organisation This tournament is organised by CIRCUS BELGIUM PLC (public limited company), whose principal seat is located at 4100 Boncelles, Route du Condroz, 13d (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Organizer’) and is available only on its website www.circus.be (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Site’). This tournament is entitled ‘Tournament Play-offs 2015’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Tournament’). The Tournament consists of 7 qualifying rounds (hereinafter referred to as the Qualifying rounds) and 2 final rounds (hereinafter referred to as the Grand Final and the Small Final) which are played at the same time. Article 2: Duration The Tournament will start as soon as it is placed online on 30 March 2015 and will go on until 24 May 2015. The Organizer reserves the right to extend the duration of the Tournament and to delay or advance any date and/or time which has been announced. Article 3: Conditions of participation People participating in the Tournament may do so only via the Organizer’s website: www.circus.be. In order to participate in the Tournament and receive the prizes to be won, participants must: - be at least 21 years old; - be duly registered on the Site; - have an active account; - respect the terms and conditions of the Site and the betting regulations; - fully comply with these regulations. Any participant found to be making false statements or involved in fraudulent manipulations may be eliminated immediately from the Tournament and lose the prize(s). The Tournament is not open to employees, agents, subcontractors of the Circus group companies or to anybody who is directly or indirectly involved in organising or running the Tournament and their spouse, parents or children. Article 4: Course of the Tournament The Tournament will consist of 7 qualifying rounds and 2 finals (one grand and one small) which will take place on the following dates and times: - 1st qualifying round: from 30/03/2015 (00h00m00s) to 05/04/2015 (23h59m59s) - 2nd qualifying round: from 06/04/2015 (00h00m00s) to 12/04/2015 (23h59m59s) - 3rd qualifying round: from 13/04/2015 (00h00m00s) to 19/04/2015 (23h59m59s) Regulations tournament Play-Offs 2015 taking effect on 30 March 2015 1 - 4th qualifying round: from 20/04/2015 (00h00m00s) to 26/04/2015 (23h59m59s) - 5th qualifying round: from 27/04/2015 (00h00m00s) to 03/05/2015 (23h59m59s) - 6th qualifying round: from 04/05/2015 (00h00m00s) to 10/05/2015 (23h59m59s) - 7th qualifying round: from 11/05/2015 (00h00m00s) to 17/05/2015 (23h59m59s) - The Grand Final: from 19/05/2015 (00h00m00s) to 24/05/2015 (23h59m59s) - The Small Final: from 19/05/2015 (00h00m00s) to 24/05/2015 (23h59m59s) Article 5: Winning points for the ranking During the Tournament each participant can win points by placing winning bets on the Site. Players can only win points with single betting slips and multi betting slips (not system betting slips) which are duly qualified (see article 5bis). Points are awarded according to the following formula: Net Win of the betting slip /2*@ = Points The Net Win is the result of subtracting the Stake from the Gross Win (Gross Win = Stake * total betting slip odds). @ = Index weighted according to the number of bets on the betting slip (see table below) Index @ 1.00 1.10 1.25 1.45 1.70 2.00 2.35 2.75 3.20 3.70 Number of bets on a betting slip 1 bet on the betting slip 2 bets on the betting slip 3 bets on the betting slip 4 bets on the betting slip 5 bets on the betting slip 6 bets on the betting slip 7 bets on the betting slip 8 bets on the betting slip 9 bets on the betting slip 10 bets on the betting slip Example: A (multi) betting slip contains 4 winning bets with the following odds: 1.50 – 1.80 – 2.00 – 3.00. The stake for this betting slip is €5. Total odds = 1.5*1.8*2*3 = 16.2 Gross Win = €5*16.2 = €81 Net Win = €81-€5 = €76 Number of points won = 76/2*1.45 = 55,10 Regulations tournament Play-Offs 2015 taking effect on 30 March 2015 2 Article 5bis: Betting slips duly qualified for the Tournament For the entire Tournament (*): - Betting slips duly qualified for the Tournament are those with a stake less than or equal to €50,00 (all registered betting slips with a higher stake will not be taken into account for the Tournament). - Betting slips duly qualified for the Tournament are those betting slips of which the total odds equal or exceed 1,60/1. - If a participant registers multiple betting slips with exactly the same bets (and this regardless of the possible differences in the odds or the stake), only the first of these registered betting slips will be taken into account for the Tournament. A betting slip with exactly the same bets as another betting slip is a betting slips with the same market(s) (e.g.: 1X2) and the same bet(s) (e.g..: 1). - Only betting slips that have been registered after the player has validated his/her registration for the Tournament will be taken into account. (*) The 4 conditions above must all be fulfilled before a ticket is duly qualified for the Tournament. For the Qualifying rounds: - Betting slips duly qualified for the 7 Qualifying rounds are those registered on the Site after 30/03/2015, 00h00m00s (tournament starting date). Valid betting slips for the ranking of each Qualifying round are those slips with an end date (starting date of the last bet on the betting slip) between the Monday, 00h00m00s and the Sunday, 23h59m59s of this particular Qualifying round. For the Final rounds (small and grand) - Betting slips duly qualified for the 2 Finals are those registered on the Site after 19/05/2015, 00h00m00s (starting date of the Finals). Valid betting slips for the ranking of each final round are those slips with an end date (starting date of the last bet on the betting slip) between Tuesday 19/05/2015, 00h00m00s and Sunday 24/05/2015, 23h59m59s. Article 6: Qualifying rounds and qualified players - The qualified players for the Grand Final at the end of each Qualifying round are those players who have won the most points in descending order during this specific round. The number of qualified players varies according to the round: Round 1: 4 qualified players Round 2: 5 qualified players Round 3: 6 qualified players Round 4: 10 qualified players Round 5: 7 qualified players Regulations tournament Play-Offs 2015 taking effect on 30 March 2015 3 Round 6: 8 qualified players Round 7: 10 qualified players For a total of 50 qualified players for the Grand Final. If several participants have the same number of points in the ranking, the qualification and the possible prize(s) will be awarded to the participant who bet the highest amount during the Qualifying round. If there is still a tie after this, the Organizer reserves the right to start a procedure for designating the winning participant(s). The other participants will be ranked in descending order as well according to the number of points won at the end of the 7 Qualifying rounds. The same players can win extra prizes during the Qualifying rounds. However, only the first qualification will be taken into account for the Grand Final. If the player manages to qualify again, the qualification is awarded to the first non-qualified participant of the Qualifying round in question. - All participants who have registered at least one betting slip during the Qualifying rounds and who haven’t qualified for the Grand Final will automatically qualify for the Small Final. Article 7: Final and Winners - The Grand Final will be played by the participants who have managed to qualify at the end of the 7 Qualifying rounds. At the end of the Grand Final the first 10 qualified participants will receive a prize (those participants who have won the most points in descending order and who are consequently in the first 10 places of the ranking of this Final). If several participants have the same number of points in the ranking, the prize will be awarded to the participant who bet the highest amount during the Grand Final. If there is still a tie after this, the Organizer reserves the right to start a procedure for designating the winning participant(s). The other finalists will be ranked in descending order as well according to the number of points won at the end of the Grand Final. - The Small Final will be played by the participants who have not managed to qualify for the Grand Final (one needs to have registered at least one betting slip duly qualified for the Tournament in order to participate in the Small Final). At the end of the Small Final, the first 7 qualified participants will receive a prize (those participants who have won the most points in descending order and who are consequently in the first 7 places of the ranking of this Final). If several participants have the same number of points in the ranking, the prize will be awarded to the participant who bet the highest amount during the Small Final. If there is still a tie after this, the Organizer reserves the right to start a procedure for designating the winning participant(s). Regulations tournament Play-Offs 2015 taking effect on 30 March 2015 4 The other finalists will be ranked in descending order as well according to the number of points won at the end of the Small Final. Article 8: Prizes for the Winners of the Final Grand Final: - The first player in the ranking wins a package ‘sports trip’ for 2 people, worth €2,200, to be chosen from a list on our dedicated page. The first player in the ranking also receives €500. - The players in place 2 to 6 of the ranking each win a package ‘sports trip’ for 2 people, worth €2,200, to be chosen from a list on our dedicated page. - The players in place 7 to 10 in the ranking each win €500. Small Final: - The first player in the ranking wins a package ‘sports trip’ for 2 people, worth €2,200, to be chosen from a list on our dedicated page. The first player in the ranking also receives €500. - The players in place 2 and 3 of the ranking each win a package ‘sports trip’ for 2 people, worth €2,200, to be chosen from a list on our dedicated page. - The players in place 4 to 7 in the ranking each win €500. Remarks: - The winners of a package ‘sports trips’ have 6 months, starting from the end of the Tournament, to choose a trip from the list on our dedicated page which will be updated constantly. After this period of time the prize is permanently lost. - The prizes are awarded to the winners personally and may not be transferred to a third person. They may not be exchanged or refunded and may not be provided in the form of an equivalent cash value or any other form. - The Organizer reserves the right to cancel a win if the Winner or Winners fail to comply with these regulations. - The Organizer also reserves the right to publish the list of winners on the Site (last name, first name, age, city/town, username,…) and the participants fully accept this. Article 9: Prizes for the Winners of the Qualifying rounds At the end of the Qualifying rounds there are also a number of packages ‘sports trip’s for 2 people, worth €2,200, to be won and chosen from a list on our dedicated page. The number of packages varies according to the Qualifying round: Round 1: 1 package Round 2: 1 package Regulations tournament Play-Offs 2015 taking effect on 30 March 2015 5 Round 3: 2 packages Round 4: 4 packages Round 5: 2 packages Round 6: 2 packages Round 7: 4 packages For a total of 16 packages to be won during the Qualifying rounds. - The X packages to be won at the end of each Qualifying round are awarded to the first X participants in the ranking of the Qualifying round in question (according the ranking modalities as described in article 6 of these regulations). -The packages can be combined during the various rounds (this means the same player can win up to 7 packages during the total of 7 Qualifying rounds). Remarks: - The winners of a package ‘sports trips’ have 6 months, starting from the end of the Tournament, to choose a trip from a list on our dedicated page which will be updated constantly. After this period of time the prize is permanently lost. - The prizes are awarded to the winners personally and may not be transferred to a third person. They may not be exchanged or refunded and may not be provided in the form of an equivalent cash value or any other form. - The Organizer reserves the right to cancel a win if the Winner or Winners fail to comply with these regulations. - The Organizer also reserves the right to publish the list of winners on the Site (last name, first name, age, city/town, username,…) and the participants fully accept this. Article 10: Right of personal portrayal At the request of the Organizer, each Winner agrees to take part in a photo and/or video session or at least provide the Organizer with photos of him/herself. Each Winner agrees to transfers his/her right of personal portrayal, free of charge, to the Organizer, as reproduced on any photographs and videos to be produced or sent. Each Winner formally agrees that these photos and/or videos as well as the Winner's last name, first name, username and age may be published on the Site or used via any other medium (including television) in order to promote the Site, for a period of one year. Article 11: Miscellaneous Regulations tournament Play-Offs 2015 taking effect on 30 March 2015 6 11.1. Participation in the Tournament implies the unconditional acceptance of these regulations and any objections shall be dismissed. 11.2. The Organizer cannot be held liable for any incident resulting from connecting to the Organizer's site through the Internet. The sending of data does not guarantee they will be received. 11.3. Should the Site stop operating or crash and the bet is not registered or is lost, no winnings or compensation in any form may be sought. 11.4. Any questions participants may have regarding the Tournament should be sent by email to the following address: [email protected]. 11.5. Any questions about the application or interpretation of these regulations, or any unexpected questions that may be asked shall be settled at the sole discretion of the Organizer, with no possibility of appeal whatsoever. 11.6. The Organizer's computer file systems and, in particular, the dates and times recorded by the Organizer's computer system, shall prevail and may not be disputed by the participants. 11.7. The Organizer reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel all or part of the Tournament, or any participation condition, without the participants or any other person being entitled to claim damages. Any such decisions shall be published on the Site. 11.8. Should one or more sports events on which one or more participants have placed a bet for the Tournament be delayed or cancelled for more than 24 hours, then the Organizer shall regard the bet(s) in question as cancelled. 11.9. Should a betting slip contain several single bets, then this shall be divided for ranking purposes into as many betting slips as the bets it contains (1 bet per betting slip). 11.10. The Site's terms and conditions and the betting regulations both apply to this Tournament. 11.11. These regulations are governed by Belgian law and any dispute concerning its application shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Liège courts. 11.12. Participation in the Tournament is only valid from the moment the participant has validated his/her participation. Each betting slip which is registered prior to the validation of participation shall be excluded from the ranking(s). 11.13.
