All Families with children aged 0-5 who live in North Reading are welcome to attend these groups, sessions and courses. All are FREE unless otherwise stated. Information on the

TERM TIME PROGRAMME
Play Rangers – This active play session is packed full of indoor and outdoor fun (weather
permitting) for children of all ages. The sessions will include soft play, storytelling, running,
skipping, jumping and lots of sports activities.
£1 per child
Child Minders Drop In – This group will enable you to receive support in a structured
environment. Different activities will be provided for children and carers. Every session
includes crafts, play, music, and snack time. We invite everyone to bring along a piece of fruit
for the children to share. Dates are as follows: 12th & 26th November, 10th December. £1 first
child 50p for additional children.
Teddies Active Music – These two sessions are for parent/carer with children under 5 years,
We run an interactive, engaging and fun session which all children enjoy. The children use
musical instruments and different resources to bring the songs to life, £1 per child 50p
additional children.
Stay & Play (Messy Play) – This session is for families with children under 5. Each session has a
different art and craft activity all planned around the EYFS with plenty of fun toys, a snack and
song time. We invite families to bring along a piece of fruit for all to share at snack time. £1
per child 50p additional children.
MAD Academy – these classes are for children bursting with energy and fun! Each week we
combine lively music and dance, with carefully structured learning designed for the specific age
and developmental stage of your child. £2 per child
Bumps Babes and Breast Feeding Somewhere for you to get advice on breast feeding have a
coffee and chat while the children play with new toys and mix with other babies.

Garden Project – Have fun with nature meet in main reception £no charge

them develop. £1 first child 50p for additional children.

get creative for an hour before tea. £1 per child 50p additional children.
New Parents Group – The new parents group is for parents with babies under 1 year. This
group is extremely popular and great for meeting other parents and gaining peer support and
advise. Different activities include info on weaning, breastfeeding, baby signing, baby massage
and lots more. £1 per child
Street Tots – This session is run at Mapledurham Pavillion, it’s a fun dance session for children
between the ages of 19 months to 5 years. It offers an introduction to a mixture of different
dance styles while also improving coordination. £2 first child £1 per additional child.
Soft Play – Drop in for children (0-5) have a run around and release some energy £1 per child
New Parents Group – The new parents group is for parents with babies under 1 year. This
group is extremely popular and great for meeting other parents and gaining peer support and
advise. Different activities include info on weaning, breastfeeding, baby signing, baby massage
and lots more. £1.50 per family.
Dads Club = This is a fortnightly group. Every session includes craft, play music and snack
time. We also offer bacon sandwiches for dads & fruit for the children. £2 per family
Family Man Group – Weekly drop-ins for dads, granddads, uncles etc, toast or bacon rolls
included! £3 per family.
