Message from Mr. Chadwick
Hello! Welcome back for another school year. We have
been in touch quite a lot recently, letters, videos on the
website and parents’ meetings, about our disappointing
OfSTED report.
Just to highlight to you, we will be doing regular updates
and putting them on our website. If you would like an
update
please
check
our
website
at
www.stoswalds.bradford.sch.uk click on Parents and
then OfSTED update.
If you have any particular questions, you can email them
to [email protected] – we might not
reply straight away but we will definitely read them and
either create another video or update the webpage with
an answer.
Attendance
We must improve our attendance in school.
Last year it was less than 93% and this year we must hit
the national average of 96%.
Children need to come to school every day unless they
have been sick or have diarrhoea.
Your child needs to have 96% attendance or better, this
means that they shouldn’t be absent from school for
more than 7 days across the whole year. Unless they are
seriously ill, they should be in school.
Parent Governor
Macmillan Cancer Charity
A huge “Well done” goes to Mrs Robertshaw who has
“Braved the Shave” in aid of Macmillan cancer. We are
extremely proud of her.
We will be further support Macmillan Cancer in our
annual coffee morning.
Are you interested in becoming a Parent Governor?
Please come into our Coffee Morning on Wednesday
28th September and speak to our Clerk to Governors
Vicky Bray who will answer all your questions and give
you more information and sign up.
Gates
You will see we now have new gates in school. This is to
keep children safe. If the gate is locked, please press the
intercom.
