Ph.D. Program in Mathematical Biology

Ph.D. program in Mathematical Biology
Bright and motivated students are invited to join the Disease
Modelling Lab at the Shiv Nadar University
(www.snu.edu.in) to pursue exciting research
projects in mathematical biology. Research in
Disease
Modelling
lab
takes
various
Mathematical and Computational approaches in
modelling infectious Disease such as
differential equation models, agent-based
models, network models, stochastic models,
and spatial models. We also use Game theory
and optimization technique to resolve interesting questions in the
theory of infectious disease. Not limited to, but
current research focus of lab:
 Antibiotic drug resistance
 Social processes into behavioral models
 Evolution and emergence of infectious disease
Applications are requested through PhD
program at SNU starting in Monsoon semester
2016 (August, 2016) and are due in May 17, 2016:
