All matches will be the best of 3 tie-break sets;
Players must provide their own tennis balls (except for the finals where balls will be provided) ;
On Sat 26th all players competing in the final must be available to play all day;
In all matters of dispute, the Committee’s decision will be final;
Players may play in a maximum of 3 events (ONE SINGLES, ONE DOUBLES AND ONE MIXED ONLY);
Event standard will be based on the class played in Summer/Winter/Floodlight leagues for Lansdowne/other club in 2008 & 2009;
Entrants must be 16+ years old (16 years old by 31 December 2009);
Entrants playing at a lower class than stated event may enter a higher class event but at the discretion of Tournament Committee;
Each player must ascertain their time of play and failure to show up within 20 mins of a scheduled match will result in a walkover
to the opponent;
Scheduled matches will have priority over ANY other club match/fixture regardless of the stage of the match;
Due to the high demand for courts mid week, matches may not be re-scheduled midweek, but should all players agree matches
may be re-scheduled for weekend of 19/20th Sept and changes notified to the office (6680219);
Entries will only be accepted with the appropriate fee: Cheques are payable to ‘Lansdowne LTC. Entries can be left behind the
bar or posted to Lansdowne LTC, Londonbridge Road, Dublin 4; and
ENTRIES CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER (Draws available Monday 14th September).
