Registration Tips

Class level descriptions are available online at
www.dmymca.org or contact the front desk.

Swim lessons are based on skill level. Please DO
NOT register your swimmer in any level higher than
their actual swimming skill level. It is best to
choose a low level when registering to ensure your
child feels comfortable.

If the desired class level is full, please contact the
front desk and ask to be put on the wait list.
Please also make sure your contact information is
correct. If any opening(s) become available, we will
contact those on the wait list.

Find the session(s) that your swimmer can attend
all classes. The YMCA will not do make-up lessons
for missed classes by the swimmer.

Swimmers often need to repeat a level more than
one time before progressing. If you are registering
your swimmer in more than one session, please
register your swimmer in the same level for all
sessions. If they progress on to the next level, the
instructor will notify the supervisor to make this
change.
