Love your local NHS - Derbyshire Healthcare appeals for new members
On the most romantic day of the year, Derbyshire Healthcare is calling for the public to ‘love
your local NHS’ and sign up to become a member of their newly formed Foundation Trust.
The Trust which currently has approximately 7,300 members is seeking to increase this
number to 8,000 and beyond in the next few weeks with the launch of their ‘love your local
NHS’ campaign. Every new member who signs up between 14 February and 31 March will
be entered into a free prize draw to win a pair of tickets to a Gold category Derby County
Home game next season.
Mike Shewan, Chief Executive said: “Now that we are a Foundation Trust, we are keen to
expand our membership further and ensure our members are as reflective of the communities
we serve as possible. In the current economic climate, it is more important than ever before
that people love their local NHS and lend their support in any way they can to local NHS
services.
“This free membership enables people to learn more about the local NHS services on their
doorstop as well as giving them access to the NHS staff discount scheme. We recognise that
people lead busy lives and they can be as actively involved as they wish, as there is no
specific time commitment required.
“I would encourage everyone to love your local NHS and lend us your support by signing up
to join our Trust.”
