and JV Football 7:00

2.0 or 77 rule applies to all athletes in CCS grades 7-12
All First Semester Freshman meet NCHSAA Eligibility
Be Enrolled at CFHS by the 15th day of school
Attendance of at least 85% (no more than 13.5 days/54 periods
in Spring of 2014)
No more than 6 semesters and 3 seasons of same sport prior to
Fall 2014

● Concussion form must be on file
● Parent Permission form on file
● Voluntary Transfer student has to sit for
365 days.

crime as a minor that would be a felony as an
adult
● Must not accept prizes, merchandise, or money
for playing sports
● May not participate in professional or nonsanctioned all-star games

○ First Offense suspension from 20% of next games.
Drug/Alcohol evaluation, and take a drug test at your
cost

❖ Criminal Charges
➢ Felony Charge-suspension immediately
➢ Misdameanor-temporary suspension
➢ Report before the start of the next day’s practice or
competition

● School discipline
○ ISS or OSS student cannot particpate the day day are
suspened. (Ex. Skip class on Wednesday, caught on
Thursday, ISS on Friday=Missed game)
○ Long term suspension or disciplinary resassignment
student cannot particpate that semester or
suspension period (which ever is greater)
Sportsmanship
● If you are ejected you must complete a
sportsmanship course before returning to play
● Parents who are removed from a game have to
complete a parents role in sports and
sportsmanship course before returning as a
spectator.
Travel
● Teams must travel by activity bus to
competitions.
● Certain sports travel by car for practice if
appropriate paperwork is on file.
● Players riding home with parents after games is
up to the coach. Adults taking players home
must be on check out list
Other issues
 Coaches establish policies for lettering
 Coaches set playing time and line ups
 Do not approach a coach after a game to discuss
strategy, playing time, specific students, etc.
 Please contact coaches with any issues the day after the
game. CCS Email is preferable
