Quick Reference: Supported Health Card Number Types
Issue:
Panorama currently has options available to record incompatible identifier types within
the Client’s primary Health Card Number field.
The incompatible identifier types currently being recorded are the:
• System Assigned Number (may display with no text);
• Royal Canadian Mounted Police Number;
• Shared Client Index Electronic Identifier;
• Federal Penitentiaries Number; and the,
• Canadian Armed Forces Identification Number.
Background Information – Issue Management:
The identifier types listed above should no longer be recorded in the primary Health
Card Number field. If required, these identifiers can be recorded under the Additional
Ids section of the Personal Information screen.

numbers only.
