2014 SPRING CLINIC/LEAGUE BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
No basketball experience is necessary. Players must be prepared to learn, try their best and
make new friends from other schools.
Program Details:
 Grades 5, 6 – Wednesday nights from 6-7:30 PM (From April 2ndto May 28th, 2014)
 Grades 7, 8 – Wednesday nights from 7:30-9 PM (From April 2nd to May 28Th, 2014)
 Cost - $40.00 per student-athlete
 Registration:
1. Thursday, March 6th, 2014. From 6-8 PM in the main foyer at F.S.S. (1789 Bath Rd)

 Dates: April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 29th (Tuesday), NO SESSION May 7th, May 14th, 21st, 28th
Program Features:
 Emphasis on developing solid fundamentals and basic principles of play in a fun and encouraging
environment
 Fundamental stations and/or large group instruction emphasizing offensive moves and defensive
footwork (30 minutes each session)
 Daily games and team competitions (50 minutes each session)
 Will be grouped according to gender if numbers permit
 League T-shirt for each camper
 Awards and prizes
Coaching Staff:
 Current FSS Coaches: Duncan Cowan, Suche James, Pat Grew, Jason Wimmer, and
KarlynPixley.
 Current members of our junior/senior girls and boys programs who will aid in skill
demonstration and be responsible for coaching of games (coaches will officiate).

Frontenac who are all excited for the opportunity to work with your son/daughter. Our hope is to provide a
combination of structured development time and competitive game experience that will further the growth
