Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to our AM Tops class! My name is JuliAnne Ebright and I am thrilled to be your 3rd
grade teacher this year! I hope that you have enjoyed your summer break and you are
ready for an exciting new year. This year we will explore, learn, and discover as we
challenge ourselves and strive to reach new heights.
Let me tell you a little about myself, I graduated from Arizona State University and have
taught for 15 years in kindergarten through 3rd grade. I have been with EDUPRIZE since it
opened and I believe it is a fabulous school! I live in San Tan Valley with my husband and
our 13 year-old son, Andrew, and our 10 year-old son, Luke. I love to watch movies and hang
out with my family in my spare time. I cannot wait to learn all about you.
We will be studying hard this year. We will be working on many skills in reading, writing and
math. Along with that, we will be exploring four 9-week thematic units, and at EDUPRIZE, we
call these units Cottages. The Cottages are called Exploration Station, Aquarium, Desert
Lab, and Plant Nursery.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you at Open House on Monday, July 24th. The
suggested time for the students and their families to meet in my class is between 9:30 a.m.10:15 a.m. This is your chance to meet me and your fellow classmates, drop off the supplies
you have purchased for our classroom, take care of carpool situations, and complete any
other important paperwork. Please download the forms from our website and bring them
with you to Open House. This will help make the first day of school run smoothly.
Our first day of school is Wednesday, July 26th. In order for you to maintain enrollment at
EDUPRIZE, you must attend on this day and be on time. Please wait outside for me and I will
meet you there. Our 3rd Grade TOPS hours are from 7:20 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through
Friday. Students will be picked up from the playground at 7: 15 a.m.
I look forward to getting to know all of you and I’m sure that we will have a fabulous year of
laughter and learning ahead of us. I will keep you posted on our classroom activities
throughout the year with weekly newsletters and will always inform you of opportunities for
parent involvement. Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me

 Watercolor Palette (8 colors)
 2 reams of white paper
 4 glue sticks
 1 bottle of Elmer’s White glue
 package of thin dry erase markers (Expo lasts longest)

