Entry fee payments are to be received by Wednesday, 1 June 2016. Event Capacity: The capacity of this event is up to the discretion of Softball Australia and Softball NSW. Teams: This event is aimed for elite youth teams with the focus on the 19 and under age group. If teams require overage athletes, approval must be sought from Softball Australia prior to including onto team list. Eligibility: Dependent on entries, SAL has developed a ranking system to assist with determining what teams will compete should it be required. International Teams National Development Squads State Teams/University or National Schools Team Regional Teams Association Teams Club Teams Confirmation: Teams will be notified of their event acceptance by Monday, 2 May 2016. Authorisation: Each participating team must have their entry form endorsed by their Softball Governing body eg; Member State. Please complete section on the entry form titled ‘Authorisation of Governing Body’. Participation: Team lists must not exceed 17 players. Games: Games shall be of 90 minutes duration, the innings in progress at time shall be completed. Grand Final games will be played in their entirety. Results: If a winning team cannot be achieved within the 90 minutes a drawn result will be recorded. Accommodation: Accommodation is the responsibility of each participating team; however Softball Australia can assist with providing teams with contact details of suitable accommodation in the area. Teams are to confirm their travel and accommodation details to Softball Australia. Ground Transport: Ground Transport is the responsibility of each participating team. Draw: Softball Australia will develop a draw once final entries are received and will then distribute to participating teams. Practice: Teams wishing to have practice sessions are requested to contact Cathy Kerr directly at Softball NSW on [email protected] Key Dates: Key Dates Timeline will be sent to each participating team indicating documentation submission dates to Softball Australia Handbook: An information handbook will be distributed to participating teams in the lead up to the event.
