The Tiger Paw Approach
WE PROVIDE INSTRUCTORS WHO HAVE FOLLOWED OUR DEVELOPMENT
PLAN,OFFER THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF ON ICE INSTRUCTORS TO PROVIDE
OUR STUDENTS THE NECESSARY ENCOURAGEMENT, TEACHING,
CORRECTION THAT IS REQUIRED TO REACH THE NEXT LEVEL
We provide 6 on ice instructors each session. The players are divided into stations, and
each instructor focuses on the skill development teaching of thestation. Our groups are
small enough that we provide sufficient repetition to acquire the skills, time to have
correction during the execution of the drills and encouragement and support for the
players do surpass their initial challenges and succeed.
We incorporate a high number of small space games to allow our students to learn play
playing, having the game TEACH the game!
Our off ice instruction is led by one of Quebec’s finest strength and conditioning
instructors who has a track record of building successful elite atheltes bodies to succeed in

THE TIGER PAW DIFFERENCE
Personal attention, instructors who have
been trained with our approach as athletes,
have benefitted from our approach, share
their experiences, their knowledge and
discuss requirements of playing elite level
hockey. And, at all times, teaching, correcting,
nurturing your child to bring out their best.
BOYS, GIRLS ARE WELCOME
Peewee ( 2000/2001 born)
PROGRAM: ON ICE SKILLS AND SCRIMMAGES
Bantam (1999 and 1998 born)
Midget (1995, 1996, 19997 born)
Canada strives to be the best in both men’s
and women’s hockey. We take our approach
and we apply it to both genders to help
Canada reach those goals. Our staff has been
intimidately involved in the teaching,
nurturing and development of members of
Team Canada Gold 2010 in Vancouver
For three days of the week, we focus on mastering skills. We Skate around cones working on quick
turns, balance, power skating techniques, carving and edging.
We work on puck control skills, stickhandling passing, receiving a pass, small space games teaching
creating a line of pass, puck protection, one on one battling.
AND, THEN, ,FRIDAY, we bring in some of our ALUMNI and we scrimmage, testing our students in
what they learned during the week ,at a faster pace to take them out of their comfort zone, pushing
what we have worked on to a new level, building their confidence as they measure their success, …
and the students get to meet and share the ice with rising elite caliber players

downtown, so our staff supports our
students parents with travel solutions if
organized and scheduled in advance.

MARCH 1st Applications and deposits
We pride ourselves in doing a thorough job of developing our students. Part of that comes from being
organized and using a tried and true approach to our hockey teachings. The other part, is that we get
out to see our students inside their environment and take the time to understand their individual
needs…
A TIGER PAW DIFFERENCE
Of course, to see everyone is difficult but with applications received by March 1, we do have that
opportunity!
