Emergency Contact ____________________ Phone _______________ ☛​ ​3 Ball Tournament Rules​ ​☚ 1) Each team must consist of a maximum of 5 players and a minimum of 3 players. 3 players must be on the court at all times! 2) Players can not wear a guard, cast, or hard brace that could potentially harm other players. Soft braces, sleeves, and wraps are allowed unless they pose a danger to other players. 3) Teams must be ready to begin play at their scheduled start time. If teams are not at their court in 5 minutes past their scheduled time, they forfeit. (A forfeit is scored 20­0 for the opposing team) 4) A coin­toss is to determine who has the ball first prior to the game. 5) Winner is determined by who has the most points in the 15 minute game period. 6) Each team is allowed one 30 second and one 15 second timeout. 7) The ball must be “checked” by an opposing player before it is put into play. The “check” must occur behind the take­back line. The pass may occur anywhere on the court, but the on­ball defender must remain behind the two­point arc. 8) The ball will change possession after scored baskets and free­throw attempts. 9) The ball will be taken back on each change of possession, regardless of whether or not the shot was attempted. Your whole body has to pass the take­back line. 10) All players must have good sportsmanship. Each team will have a 3 minute warm up time and a 15 minute game. Also, each team is allowed 2 timeouts (one 30 second and one 15 second timeout).
