SWR (Single Wall Round) – Spiral Duct
METU-STREIMER spiral duct is built for the most stringent applications! Standard offerings can be made
to meet or exceed SMACNA standards for ±10” wg!*
METU-STREIMER spiral duct is made to SMACNA lock seam standard RL-1.
METU-STREIMER spiral is constructed from narrow 5.394” – 5.906” wide strip, creating a consistent lock
seam that is both pleasing to the eye and inherently rigid. The METU-STREIMER lock seam has a leakage rate
less than that allowed by leakage class “3”, and fully complies with seal class “A”, making it an ideal choice to
lower energy use by ensuring that conditioned air reaches its intended destination.
“METU-STREIMER certifies that the Spiral Duct shown herein is licensed to bear
the AMCA Seal. The ratings shown are based on tests and procedures performed in
accordance with AMCA Publication 511, and comply with the requirements of the AMCA
Certified Ratings Program.” See data on last page.
METU-STREIMER spiral duct is available in the following material grades:

Standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) is the volumetric flow rate of a gas corrected to
standardized conditions of temperature, pressure and relative humidity.
Tests are based on 24"Ø x 10' long spiral duct samples.
Maximum allowable leakage of a duct system per SMACNA Class 3 at 10 wg is 13.4 SCFM.
Air leakage is based on operation between 50° F to 104° F.
