June 17, 2015 Contact: Zeb Brayton MJC Head Baseball Coach 209-575-6274 [email protected] PRESS RELEASE – For Immediate Release MJC baseball players receive athletic scholarships to four-year universities (Modesto, CA) – The Modesto Junior College Department of Athletics is proud to announce that six members of the 2015 baseball team have received scholarships to continue their baseball careers and educations at four-year universities. The MJC team members and colleges to which they are transferring are Stefan Aguilar (Oakdale High School) - Friends University in Wichita, KN; Josh Miguel (Escalon High School) - Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO; Eddie Machado (Oakdale High) - New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM; Brent Montgomery (Escalon High) - San Francisco State University; Joe Pedlowe (Beyer High School) - Friends University in Wichita, KN, and Tanner Pruett (Orestimba High School) - Crown College in St. Bonifacius, MN. “I am extremely proud of everything these young men have accomplished during their time in our program,” said Zeb Brayton, MJC head baseball coach. “They are high character individuals with tremendous work ethic and desire.
