Checking for new hardware
=============>> should have an [ OK } but
missing...
Please verify the following due to the reason,
1. After the CE install the system, did you add any new devices like HDD
etc...
2. This seems like doing a IO checking and seems at certain bus it hang.
At this point of time, i suspect certain HW might be causing the system
to hang when checking for device.
As for the notebook keyboard, I was not able to find out any issue on
why the direction keys cannot be use. If possible, you may connect
another set of notebook to the MP Console and confirm whether the other
notebook direction is able to function.
action plan:
what: Check on Physical Connection on HW and I/O cards on the I/O Board
- Check on the HDD as well
- Check if notebook connection through MP card, direction key
able to function
If needed boot to Single User Mode and boot up level by level
why: Not able to boot up and hang at checking for new devices messgae
Cheers
chong

HI Mr Ken
Please try to simulate the reboot and provide the exact message shown as
mentioned about "checking device" or where the boot hang.
There is no issue about the notebook connection to the MP card, I'll try
to search for more.

Description:
An unrecoverable processor interrupt occured. IPF firmware owned the
processor interrupt vector table (IVT) at the time of the interrupt.
Cause / Action:
Probable bug in System Firmware, EFI driver, EFI app or OS loader (prior
to OS launch). The event data field contains the IVT offset applicable
to the interrupt. See table 5-7 (Interruption Vector Table) in the Intel
ASDM Volume 2.

HI Mr Ken
As per conversation, I'm now current researching on any issue with
RX7620 / MP card with Notebook Keyboard.
At the same time, please collect the following,
1.
Please collect the last / most recent 50 entries or dump the entire
error logs / SEL.
Control + B
MP> SL > E
Example:
CL: Console Logs
SL: Show chassis Logs ====>>
HE: Help
::
(A)ctivity Log
(E)rror Log
==========>>
(L)ive Chassis Logs
::
2.
Please try to reboot the server again and capture the exact message as
mentioned "Checking device"
::
::
If possible capture the whole print screen, thank you
I'll revert to you shortly
Regards
Chong
