SportzSoft Live GameSheet Using the App in Offline Mode

SportzSoft Live GameSheet
Using the App in Offline Mode
SportzSoft Live GameSheet can be used in ‘offline’ mode, however, you do need to connect to
the internet before the game to ‘prepare the game’ and then afterwards to ‘finish the game’.
1. First Step – You Must be Working Online:
Prepare a game making sure you are connected to the internet. This entails setting up the
game roster and identifying who will be playing in goal. Once a game is ‘prepared’, you can
work with it offline to enter game stats.
2. Second Step – This Can be Done Working Offline:
Prepare Game Roster by indicating which players will be playing in the game and making sure
their player numbers have been entered.
Adding AP Players – If you need to add affiliate players offline:
-
Click Add AP Player button
If player cannot be found, then create a new player by clicking the “Create a New Player
Profile” button. When the game is done and you reconnect to the internet to upload
game data, you will be able to “resolve” these new player profiles you have created to
known existing player profiles when you finish the game stats.
Enter game stats using the APP.
- Enter all goals, assists, penalties, shots and goalie stats
- When complete, you will need to reconnect to the Internet to ‘Finish the Game’
3. Third Step – You Must be Working Online:
Finish the game which will upload all game stats to the SportzSoft server and mark the game as
‘complete’. If you have any affiliate players you added as ‘new player’, you will need to
resolve these players to existing profiles. On the same screen you can capture a photo of the
game sheet and referee surveys and upload them to the server.
You must be connected to the internet to do this. The league or tournament website will
display a ‘box’ score until the game has been confirmed and marked as ‘final’ by the league or
tournament administrator.
