The magical Dice Game that WILL increase your bookings!

MATERIALS NEEDED:
* your enthusiastic self PLUS you have to already do a great show so guests will want to book with you
* 1 pair of dice
* 11 envelopes
* 22 labels
* Inexpensive prizes such as Season’s Bests & citrus peelers
* A grand prize (any $25-$35 product that you will buy for the guest who rolls a 2)
SETTING UP:
* “Grand Prize” label is in the envelope marked #2 (The grand prize goes in envelope #2 because the odds of rolling 2
is the lowest of all the numbers we’re using.)
* “Win a Prize” label is in envelopes #3, 4, 5, & 12
* “Book a Show” label is in envelopes #6, 7, 8, 9, 10, & 11
EXPLAIN THE “DICE GAME” AT YOUR SHOWS BY READING FROM THIS SCRIPT:
“Ok everyone; it’s time for us to have some fun! My customers always love this part of my show because they get
to gamble! Christine, will you hold these dice for me real quick, please, while I explain the game? Thanks! (This is
important! Putting the dice in their hand makes them more likely to play, and once someone starts, many guests will play!)
Alright, I have 11 envelopes in my hand. Whatever number you roll on the dice, I’ll give you the corresponding
envelope so if you roll a 10, I will give you envelope #10 and you win what’s written inside. Please don’t open
your envelope until the end of the game.
I will tell you what’s in the envelopes so you can decide if you want to play or not. There’s 1 that says, “grand
prize” which means you can choose any $35 product you want and I will buy it for you tonight. Other envelopes
say “win a prize” and you will get to choose a Pampered Chef product from this bag. The rest say “book a party”
and Suzy Hostess will get credit for everyone who books a party plus you can earn lots of free and half price
products of your choice.
The rules of this game are simple. You can pass or play and if you play, you have to take whatever it says in your
envelope so if you win the GRAND PRIZE, you have to let me buy you a $35 product of your choice. If your
envelope says WIN A PRIZE, you have to take a free product home with you tonight and if your envelope says
BOOK A PARTY, you have to __________________. (Let the guests shout out the answer).
Alright Christine, since you’re holding the dice, will you start us off?” (You don’t want to just way “who wants to play?”
No one will play. You have to say, “Christine, since you’re holding the dice, will you start us off?” After Christine plays, go to the next
person and ask, “Sarah, do you want to pass or play?” Then after she plays or passes, you go to the next person. Ask every person in the
room! Make eye contact with each guest, smile, and be enthusiastic.)
Then after everyone has played, you say, “Don’t open your envelopes yet. I want to sweeten the pot for those who
have an envelope. If you choose to book a show before you open your envelope, I will send you home tonight with
your very own “party in a bag” so you don’t have to do dishes the night of your party PLUS you will still get
whatever is in your envelope. Wave your envelope if you will book a party no matter what it says in your envelope
so we can give Suzy Hostess credit tonight and you can go home with a party in a bag. I have lots more in my car.”
Afterwards, do your full service checkout like you normally would and ask each guest if they would like
more information on joining our Pampered Chef team and ask those who didn’t roll the dice if they would
like to have a cooking show or catalog show.
