Safe Sitter Class


The Safe Sitter course will begin next
Monday through Wed.Class begins at 4:156:15pm at the King Center. The course is free
and participants receive a Free first aid kit
worth $50 for participating.
This certificate looks great on a resume and
helps when searching for jobs in health or

Chemistry Summer Camp
 The Chemistry Summer Camp 2017 hosted by Dr.
Dongmao Zhang in Department of Chemistry at
Mississippi State University is being held for the 4th
year.
 The camp includes a lab experiences and classroom
work, and participating students will receive a
stipend upon completion.

Free Physicals

If you are needing a physical for the
upcoming sports seasons, OCH is offering
free physicals on Saturday, April 22. If you are
needing a form Jeremy Harville will have
them in the athletic office.


The FFA plant sale is underway daily behind
Millsaps in the greenhouse.
Scholarship



Applications are now available for the Rose
Ella Perkins Memorial Scholarship.
Applicants must be active in their church and
community and have a GPA between (3.0-2.0)
and an ACT score between (25-15) NO
EXCEPTIONS.
A completed application is due Friday, April
21, 2017. See your counselor or your English
teacher for an application.
A Princess for the Day



The SHS Singers Boosters present Princess
For A Day Pageant Saturday, April 22 at 4pm
at the SHS Auditorium.
There is a $25 contestant registration fee and
a rehearsal Thursday, April 20 at 6pm.

Baseball takes on the Murrah Mustangs in the
first round of the MHSAA 6A Playoffs at
Yellowjacket field tonight. Game begins at 6.
Jacket will compete for the best out of three
games to advance to the second round.
Softball

Fast Pitch softball will play in round 1 of the
MHSAA 6A playoffs today versus rival Tupelo
Golden Wave. Game begins at 5.
