Miracle Review
Miracle is one of my favorite movies. It is about the 1980 Men's U.S. Olympic Hockey
team that takes home gold and brings down the U.S.S.R Soviet Union power house
that dominated the world. However, this was no ordinary hockey game, it was a game
played by the entire country. It took place during the cold war, and the Soviets had
kidnapped U.S. citizens causing a huge up roar when the U.S. won. The movie took
place in Lake Placid, New York in 1980 during the Winter Olympic Games. This movie is
inspirational, funny, intense, sad, and courageous all at once. It is a MUST see.

A “Must See” Movie
I believe Miracle is worthy of an Academy Award. I believe it is worthy because it s a great
movie. Not only is it great, but it’s a true story, it touches down on real events from our
American History that make us who we are today. It also uses real life hockey players who know
the game and not just actors who aren't familiar and good at the game of hockey.
