2. It is a requirement of the Taree & Great Lakes council that your kitchen/van is
inspected and approved for preparing food for consumption at markets. Please
attach a copy of the council inspection.

x 3200mm fire blanket. Please have this ready for inspection upon your first visit.

6. What type of warm hand washing facilities do you intend to set up for the duration
of the market ? Please explain.

9. Food handlers cannot use the same gloves to handle money and food. What is
your system for handling food and money?
10. At the Pacific Palms Market we have a policy for all food containers to be made of a
biodegradable material eg cornstarch plates, wooden knives and forks etc. What
type of packaging are your products sold in ?

11. What type of barrier do you have for your food as a sneeze guard?
eg. Perspex or glass.
RUBBISH REMOVAL
Palms Market has a recycling program in place. Rubbish can be divided into normal
waste, bottles & cans, food waste. You will notice these bins around the market. All
rubbish and waste eg. Coffee grinds, cooking oils or dirty water need to be disposed of in
the correct manner and not tipped onto market grounds.
There are two skip bins provided at the markets to dispose of waste (near tennis courts)
