Dear Parents/Carers
Welcome back to the school year 2016/17. It was lovely to welcome everyone back this week
and hear all about your summer holiday adventures and begin to look forward to the new year
ahead. I am also excited to let you know that our school is now formally federated with North
Frodingham Primary School with one Governing Body. We are in the process of formalising our
Governing Body committees and I look forward to sharing these with you shortly.

Term overview
Attached is the curriculum overview for
your child’s year group if you have any
resources or expertise that you can share
with your child’s class please let us know.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast club continues to run from
7.45am each morning at the cost of £2.50
per session. The club is available without
booking for our FS2 children to Year 6. If
you have a FS1 child who needs a place
please book in advance at the office. Thank
you
School Lunches
School lunches remain at £2.20 this term.
Can I ask that you let us know on a Monday
which days your child requires a school
lunch as Skipsea School Kitchen ask us for
this information. This can be done at the
Office or to help us minimise the queue
please send any dinner money in an envelope
with the marked days.

Kids Club
Kids club with Rev James continues to run
during the Autumn term. The first half
term dates are:
14th September
12th October
For more details please ask in the office
School Clubs
Please see attached our school clubs which
will begin on Mon 19th Sept (except for Goal
Sports Football which has already started).
Please look out for individual letters in book
bags. Clubs are suitable for children from
F2 upwards unless it says KS2 when it is
for Year 3 upwards.
Can I draw to your attention that Football
club is delivered by Goal Sports and not by
school staff. In the first instance any
questions about this club should be
directed to the coaches, but please let us
know if you need any further clarification.

Sports News
Our children will benefit from multi-sports
coaching from Mr McLaren who will be
leading sessions on Tuesday afternoons and
Mr Sheader who will be leading sessions in
gymnastics.
Parents Evening
Parents evening this year will take place on
Tue 27th September 3.45 – 7.00pm. Letter
to book appointments will follow shortly.
FOBS
We are always grateful to our Friends of
Beeford School for the events and
activities that they organise during the
school year as well as the money that they
raise to support the children within the
school. If you want to know more about
FOBS and how you can help our school the
AGM will be held on Mon 12th Sept at
7.00pm in school. I do hope you can join us.
Harvest Festival
Please note that our Harvest Festival will
take place at St. Leonards on Thurs 6th Oct
at 10.00. All are welcome. This year we are
asking for donations to a food hamper. We
then hope to raffle the hamper with
donations raised for Nepal. More details to
follow
