Today, the company maintains a modern, cutting-edge production facility, and employs 200 workers. Champignon Farm is the leading mushroom producer in Israel with about a 40% share of the market. ABOUT THE PROJECT The project began as a research study evaluating the possibility of irrigating mushrooms by drip systems rather than by mobile sprinklers. THE NETAFIM SOLUTION Netafim’s solution is anchored by the company’s innovative low-flow compensated non-leakage drippers. The comprehensive solution also includes a controller and a mechanical deployment system that automates the laying and retrieving of dripperlines within and from the casing soil.
