Creating Team Identities - Johns Hopkins University

Creating Team Identities
1. Have each teams create a team name, team goal, team logo/picture and handshake and/or
cheer. Direct teams to record this information on the Team Fact sheet (included on left side or
every TARGET folder.)
2. You may choose to have teams generate a team poster/slide show encompassing team name,
team goal, team logo, and team picture.
3. After completing the Team Identity, allow the students time to practice their team presenting
this information. Explain to the students that every team member will have a role in the
presentation of their team to the class.
4. Pass out and discuss the Presentation Rubric.
5. Have each team present their Team Identity. While teams are presenting, the other students
should complete the Team Presentation Rubric.
