Right 1.9 miles to CTM Dear Exhibitors, Welcome to the 2017 ‘Cross the Meadow Farm horse shows. Our first show will be held at the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland. This show will be a fundraiser for The Rocky Mountain Horse Rescue and will feature the Dion Dana Equitation Classic, as well as our popular lead line class for the Dads and fun Ride and Run Jumper Class! ‘Cross the Meadow is pleased that the second show will be held on our home grounds. This show will be a fundraiser for The Claire Davis Fund and will offer Jumper, Medal and Equitation classes, a Five Bar Competition, as well as a schooling show on Sunday. Sincerely, Celia Thomas 'Cross the Meadow Farm Rules and Regulations Show will be run according to CHJA rules & regulations 1. Entries close Thursday, June 15th, 7 p.m. for Show I; and Thursday June 22rd 7 p.m. for Show II. Late and day of show entries will be accepted with a $25.00 late fee. 2. All checks should be made payable to ‘Cross the Meadow Farm There will be a $50.00 fee for returned checks. Any returned checks must be paid in cash or certified funds within 10 days. 3. Adds and scratches will be allowed. Show scratches will be refunded; less the cost of any classes completed, office and EMT fees and stall/paddock fees, if applicable. 4. Show management reserves the right to cancel, combine, divide, and/or move any classes. 5. “No judges” will be allowed for hunter classes, time permitting. 6. Stalls will be available for $40.00/ per day Show I, and a limited # of stalls will be available for $45/day Show II. Shavings will be available for sale, Show I. 7. Approved helmets must be worn at all times while mounted. 8. Champion and Reserve will be awarded in all divisions. First place award and ribbons through 6th, Classics through 12th. 9. A one minute gate will be imposed if management finds it necessary. 10. Loose pets will not be allowed. Please keep your pets leashed at all times. 11. Please respect our hosts’ property and do not throw cigarettes on the ground. Use ash cans provided! 12. Proper show attire required. Jumper riders are to wear shirts with collar and sleeves; Equitation Classic riders are to wear hunt coats. ** Exception-non rated schooling divisions 13. Special Classes Dion Dana Memorial Equitation Classic - Sat. June 17th Fences 2’6”-2 -9” Open to all Beginner Amateur and Beginner Junior riders. Riders must have entered and competed in at least two Equitation over fences classes (Medal class counts). Scores will be given in the second equitation o/f of their respective divisions. First place trophy and ribbons to 12th place. Entry fee $25 Pro/Am/Jr.Jumper Challenge- Sun. June 18th Fences 3’ Open to all riders. This class will be run Table III, over a course of 10-12 jumps. There will be a mandatory change of rider one time during the course. Faults will be converted to time. Fastest time wins! Entry fee $20: All entry fees will be donated to The Colorado Horse Rescue Father’s Day Lead line classes!! Help us celebrate Dad’s special day! There will be a class just for Dads held both Saturday and Sunday during the ‘Cross the Meadow Farm I Horse Show! Ride and Run Competition – Sat. June 17 To be show over a course of 8 jumps. First 5 jumps to be jumped by horse and rider. At a designated spot the rider dismounts and jumps the remaining 3 ( lower ) jumps on foot. Faults converted! Fastest time wins!! The fence height will start at 2’6” and increase in height with each clear round. Riders may opt out of jumping any height and start at the height they chose.
