Grading prizes £25 for every 20 entries per section.
A player cannot win more than one prize.
Entries received after 12th August will be subject to
a £4 surcharge.

RATE OF PLAY
40 moves in 100 minutes, then all moves
in 20 minutes
A player arriving more than 30 minutes
after the start of a round will be defaulted.

Parking: Plenty free parking available. Players may
park at the school or further parking is available at
the attached community association leisure centre.
ECF MEMBERSHIP
Chester le Street is ideally located on the East
Coast main line. The venue is approximately 400
yards from the Chester le Street railway station,
(under 5 minutes walk).Get off the train walk down
the bank,crossing a mini roundabout, go straight
ahead passing the Job Centre on your right. Once
at the Front Street look right across the road. Take
the small road and the venue is 40 yards in front of
you.
Drivers: Leave A1 at Juntion 63, at the roundabout
follow A167 Durham. Then after 200 yards at
roundabout take the 2nd exit - B6313 (signposted
Chester-le-Street) , after 250 yards at a miniroundabout turn left onto Low Chare, go up the hill
passing the all car parks. Bear right onto Church
Chare -The school is on the left next to the church.
There are plenty restaurants and pubs close to the
venue and you also may choose to visit or stay in
Durham or Newcastle both are under 10 minutes
away by train, there are also regular bus services to
both.
Hotels at reasonable cost are available, The best
probably being Lumley Castle hotel which is about
15 minutes walk from the venue, treat yourself and
stay in a castle! Travel lodge(1mile approx),Holiday
Inn Express, Premier Inn are also within a few miles
of the venue.
We intend to show live games on the internet but
this needs to be confirmed.
