This will appear on the listing pages. Bicester Tennis Club is offering an exciting position for a club coach to help develop the progressing programme. The candidate must hold a Level 2 or 3 coach qualification. Bicester Tennis Club is seeking an enthusiastic individual wanting to join a tennis club with lots of potential. The club is rapidly growing and progressing. There has been a large increase in junior and adult membership and court usage, providing an opportunity for an ambitious coach to develop a strong profile here at Bicester Tennis Club. This is an exciting role as the coach will be part of an expanding programme and will be part of a team responsible for laying the foundations of developing tennis further in Oxfordshire. The position would start off as part-time, initially with the minimum of 12-15 hours per week, with room to rapidly increase workload going into the summer with a minimum of 25 hours per week. Initially the position will consist of working with Mini tennis, juniors and within schools, with an eye to progress into all areas of the programme. The programme includes adult sessions, working alongside the Head coach with performance players, Disability sessions, team training and Cardio tennis. There will also be scope to organise and run paid competitions at the venue. We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills, who is organised, punctual and professional in approach. The coach must feel confident working on his or her own with groups of children and working with large numbers in schools. Venue Overview Bicester Tennis Club has access to 7 Floodlit courts, 3 of which are at the main venue, with the remaining 4 courts a few minutes away at the renowned Bicester Hotel, Golf and Spa. Job Specification The role will become available on April 1st with the aim for the coach to begin running sessions by the 13th April 2015. The body of the posting. Must be LTA Registered (Level 2) or LTA Licensed (level 3) Must provide DBS certificate (CRB equivalent) Must be First Aid trained Full UK driving license & Vehicle is preferred Experience in the delivery of primary and secondary school coaching and experience in running competitions would be an advantage over other candidates.
