General Business. a) Appointment of Senior Coach. As was recommended by the Sub Committee: Leigh Lewis has been appointed Senior coach for this season. Ash Peters has been appointed Assistant coach. All other Captains and selectors to be decided. b) The club will be making application to Hobsons Bay Council for the use of Langshaws Reserve, Altona College P9 & Altona Green Primary School. (Will apply for Edwards Reserve or Gray Reserve also as they are closer). c) Training Indoor has been booked as per below:All at Western Indoor Sports (Cnr. As he still owes funds to numerous members from the tipping competition (As per below): There were 12 members in total. 11 were owed $330.00 & 1 @ $250.00 = $3,880.00 3 members have been paid, 3 @ $330.00 = $ 990.00 Total owed = $2,890.00 We will be denying this clearance request. k) This season we will have 5 members on the “Disciplinary Committee” only 3 is required to have a quorum. l) Langshaws Reserve is being used during the Winter season by Newport Power Football club and Barnsworth United Soccer Club. m) The new outdoor nets are currently under construction. We will be required to pay a total of $15,000.00 ($5,000.00 each season over the next 3 seasons). n) Jim advises that the VTCA has decided on 8 teams for the Senior grades this season with the new restructure. This was against the vote of 12 clubs agreed by all clubs. It seems they were swayed by the “Power” Senior clubs. Even though we wanted to be in the Northern Grade we will stay in West A. The Williamstown Comp. has folded and has now joined the VTCA. o) The Junior Pre AGM will be held soon with the AGM next month. p) The Social committee will again be looking at many functions this season including Trivia Night, Cocktail Night & Comedy Night. Will be looking at having a function at the Altona North Bowls Club. q) It was moved that the Treasurer be given team lists to ensure that fees are kept under control. This will be controlled be the newly appointed “Membership Manager”. Moved: J Sideris Seconded: A Peters carried r) Darren advises that our main Bank account will now be at the “Bendigo Bank” Altona, this is due to now renting a wireless “EFTPOS” machine through them. This will cost $60.00 per month over 12 months. Captains will be able to take the device with them on match day. The current CBA account will remain as a “Player payment account”.
