Dear Families,
We are excited that your dancer will be performing in TWO shows this year! Because of this, we have devised
a Reserved Seating Section to help lower your cost for tickets to two performances. As you read through this
memo, please note that “Priority Show” means the show in which your dancer(s) has more numbers.
“Second Show” is the extra performance that you have been invited to participate in. If your child participates
in only one class that happens to be in both shows (Musical Theater or Acro) it does not matter which show is
your “Priority Show”. Dual show families cannot purchase Reserved seating to both performances.
Recital Tickets- What you need to know!
1. Our MARTELL TU Recital is Saturday, June 6th at 12:45pm. Our MARTELL MAIN Recital is Saturday,
June 6th at 6:45pm
2. You will notice a RESERVED SEATING SECTION on the diagram of the Civic Theatre. Families with
dancers performing in BOTH shows will have access to these seats for a low price of $10/seat. These
seats can be purchased for your “second show” only. Tickets must still be purchased at regular
price for your “priority show” on the general order form. Please note that we have two order
forms. You will need two order forms if you are attending two shows.
3. Upon completing your form, please return it to our studio(s) with payment enclosed starting Monday,
April 13th through Saturday, May 9th. Ticket orders will be placed in the order they are received.
4. After May 9th, all tickets must be purchased through the Akron Civic Theatre by calling the box office at
330-253-2488. Convenience fees may apply.
5. NO ticket order will be placed without payment. We absolutely cannot hold seats and wait on
payment.
6. For any Martell Tu families/dancers who are interested in coming to our MAIN show on the evening of
the 6th, there will be special pricing at the door for that night. Martell Tu students get in free and adults
pay general admission pricing of $15. These seats are in the Tango and Salsa Sections (see seating
diagram). If you wish to sit elsewhere that evening, you will pay full price for other seating sections.
These are NOT for pre sale at this price. These tickets must be purchased at the door. The same
is available for any Martell MAIN dancers wishing to attend the matinee show.
7. If you are buying pre sale tickets to both shows, you will need TWO order forms. Families with
dancers in both shows have a special order form for their “second show” only.
