Winning
The player with the most pairs of matching cards
wins! In the event of a tie, another game is
played using 9 pairs of cards.
Solo Play
This is excellent practice for developing
concentration and memory skills. Just set up the
game with the character cards only, using any
number of pairs, and count the number of turns it
takes you to match them all. Try to improve with
each game you play.

A Match

down, using all 72 cards.
A player makes a
match if the two cards
turned picture side-up
are identical. When
a match is made,
the player takes
both cards and
places them in front of
him/her. That player
takes another turn, and
continues taking turns
until he/she misses.
Here’s How to Play!
A Miss
Object
To collect the most pairs of matching cards.
Setup
1. Mix all the cards up and spread them face
down on a flat surface.
The player whose birthday is coming up next
starts, with play continuing clockwise. Players take
turns, flipping over any two cards picture side-up.
The cards must be turned over completely so that
all players can see them. The game continues until
all matches have been made.
Character Cards
A player misses if the two cards turned picture
side-up are not identical. These two cards are
turned over once again, face down; and that
player’s turn ends. All players should try to
remember which cards were turned over for
future matches!

Item Card Matches
Once you’ve made an Item Card Match, read
the action and follow the instructions. Item Card
Matches must be used on your current turn and can
only be used once. (You may not use these cards
on future turns, except for the Super Star match.)
Once you have completed the directive, take your
next turn.
