Board of Education Approves 3 More Contracts for Work Related to 2012 Bond The HISD Board of Education authorizes the district to negotiate contracts with three firms on three more 2012 bond projects, including Grady Middle School, Condit Elementary, and the Mandarin Chinese Language Immersion K-8 School. District Forms 21st Century Schools Advisory Committee HISD has set up a new committee of Houston-area architects, educators, and building experts to help advise the district on design and facility planning as it moves forward with the 2012 bond program that will build or renovate 40 schools.
