What you need to know:
• The app has been designed to help you identify your strengths and areas to develop in your GCSE Maths
• It is a great way of practising questions on specific topics.
• The app contains 152 therapy videos. If you are stuck on a particular question, you can watch a video tutorial
to assist you in moving forward.
• The app has built in challenges that enable you to focus on topics that are specific to your target grade.

Once you have logged in you will see a grey tab with six headings which are explained in detail below.
Design a Test
Here the GCSE Maths curriculum is split into topics
You are able to click on the skills (as many as you wish) and by clicking on “Begin a Test” a short test is generated.
If you are unsure, links to videos are highlighted which can be seen before returning to the test.
When finished answers are marked. You will be given a % and a breakdown of targets to work on.
When you have completed a test remember to press “mark all”, this will then tell you which questions you have
got correct or incorrect.
Skills Overview (to help you review your progress)
This is the main area provided to track overall progress on every skill needed in Maths.
The success line shows how well you are doing with each strand, whilst the headings break down into separate skills.
Strengths and target areas are easily visible coded green for mastered skills and red for areas still to be covered or
improved. Links to videos are again provided to help you in topic areas.
Gap Analysis
This area is designed to be used alongside in-class assessments guided by your teachers. It will help you to analyse your
performance in tests and identify areas still to work on.
Take a Challenge
This section offers Grade specific mini tests which will help you to cover topic areas suited to your individual targets. The
app marks the test, offers guidance through videos and feeds into the skills overview and your progress tracker.
