ADVERTISEMENT: ICT INTERSHIP PROGRAMME
PRASA is embarking on a Graduate Internship Programme aimed at attracting graduates
who have obtained their qualifications but require experience before they could enter the
fulltime workforce. This programme will equip the learners with appropriate skills, experience
and competencies in order to integrate them into the labour market.
Candidates who are interested and meet the minimum requirements as detailed below are
invited to apply. The successful applicants will enter into an internship agreement (not an
employment contract) with PRASA. The programme constitutes intensive training and
practicals, the costs of which are fully paid for by PRASA and in addition learners will receive
a monthly allowance of R 9 484.00.00 for the duration of the training which is 18 months.
Commencement date is January 2015 to July 2016.
It should be noted that an Internship programme does not give guarantee to permanent
employment; although every endeavour will be made to place suitable candidates into
relevant vacancies but PRASA cannot commit to a guarantee of employment on successful
completion of training.
